Lotus flowers were wonderful!

At the end of June in many Shinto Shrine a “Chinowa” , a sacred ring made of grass is set at the gate for an ancient purification ritual called “Nagoshi no Harae”. If you walk three times through this ring your health will be assured for the remainder of the year.
