■ Other Important Notes

・Kamiza-an occupies the second floor of a two-story Machiya. Please rest assured that there are no shared areas.

・Please note that accessing the second floor requires using the stairs.
As this is a renovated wooden building that is approximately 100 years old, sounds such as footsteps and voices tend to carry easily.
We kindly ask that you remain quiet during late-night and early-morning hours.
Thank you for your cooperation.

・We do not provide housekeeping services or linen changes during your stay. For long-term stays (5 nights or more), we will accommodate your requests.

・Please refrain from holding parties or banquets on the premises.

・We do not provide pajamas. Please bring your own.

・There is no parking available. Please use a nearby pay parking lot.

・Preschool-aged children may stay for free when sharing a bed with an adult.
Please include children of elementary school age or older, as well as preschool-aged children who require bedding, in the total number of adults when making your reservation.

・We can store your luggage before check-in starting from 11:30 AM on the day of your check-in.
Please contact us if you need it.

・For guests wishing to send luggage in advance: As our house does not have a reception desk, we are unable to accept luggage deliveries prior to check-in.
However, you may send your luggage if you arrange for it to be delivered after your scheduled check-in time and are present to receive it yourself.
Please also arrange the shipment of your luggage yourself at a nearby convenience store.
If you are unsure how to fill out the shipping slip, we would be happy to assist you, so please feel free to ask.

The above prices are intended for three guests per night.
Rate for extra guests:
Yen 5,000 for each extra guest primary school student per night;
No charge Preschoolers.(If you are sharing a bed with an adult)

※Please note that, in accordance with Kyoto City ordinances, you are required to pay the accommodation tax in cash upon check-in.
The accommodation tax is not included in the room rate.

[Tax Rates]
The tax fee is depends on how much you paid for your rental cost.
If your rental cost is 6,000 JPY to 20,000 JPY per person per night, the tax is 400 JPY per person per night.
(EX) If you are 2 people and you stay 2 nights, the accommodation tax will be 400 JPY × 2 people × 2 nights = 1,600 JPY
If your rental cost is 20,000 JPY to 50,000 JPY per person per night, the tax is 1,000 JPY per person per night.
(EX) If you are 2 people and you stay 2 nights, the accommodation tax will be 1,000 JPY × 2 people × 2 nights = 4,000 JPY
If your rental cost is 50,000 JPY to 100,000 JPY per person per night, the tax is 4,000 JPY per person per night.
(EX) If you are 2 people and you stay 2 nights, the accommodation tax will be 4,000 JPY × 2 people × 2 nights = 16,000 JPY
When you check in, we would like to collect your accommodation tax by cash.
